**COVID-19 & SHIPPING DELAYS **

Australia Post and our couriers are currently experiencing delivery delays due to limited flights, social distancing requirements and increased online shopping and subsequent parcel volumes.
We appreciate your patience during this time ensure that we are packing orders as fast as we can in order to do all possible to minimise delays.

We have been kept well informed by our delivery companies of their procedures for handling deliveries during the current COVID-19 health pandemic. They are adhering to all government requirements to ensure the health and safety of their workers and customers.  Many are now using contactless receipt of parcel procedures, or leaving parcels if the home is unattended in order to reduce person to person contact.

If leaving your parcel is absolutely NOT an option, then please make a note of this in the comments box prior to checking out. We thank you for your understanding during these unprecedented times.

SHIPPING

Once orders are placed we aim to dispatch within 2 days and offer two options for shipping:-

Standard Shipping / Flat Rate $8.00 - Using either Australia Post Parcel Post or Fastway Couriers. Standard Shipping takes 2-10 days depending on the delivery address. 

Australia Post Express Post / Flat Rate $12 - Is also available which covers 80% of Australian business addresses, private addresses and Post Office Boxes.  To check if your delivery address is serviced by the Express Post Guarantee please click here.

 The express post guarantee is temporarily suspended.

Express Post is still available, but please note there are significant delays. Please refer to this following advice from Australia Post:-

"Effective 20 April 2020, we're temporarily suspending the Express Post guarantee of a refund and replacement envelope or satchel for articles that don’t meet the next business day delivery standard.

Our Express Post service will continue to be our fastest postal delivery option for our customers – and we'll continue to prioritise these deliveries. But please be aware that we’re experiencing significant delays, and Express Post parcels could take five business days or more to be delivered".

 EXPRESS POST Orders placed before 12.00 noon ACST will be send on the same day. Express orders placed after 12.00 noon will be send the following business day.

** COLOURED HAIRSPRAY CANNOT BE SENT EXPRESS POST ***

 

Once your order has been dispatched we will send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number, so you can follow the journey of your order.

To guarantee delivery we recommend that you have your parcel sent to your work or office, or somewhere where there will be a person available to receive the delivery. If you are happy to have your parcel left at your address, please state “Authority to Leave” in the comments box upon check out, along with any detailed instructions as to where to leave (eg under carport or on front porch).

Should the parcel be unable to be delivered, a card will be left explaining that you will need to collect from your closest Post Office, or to ring the courier to arrange a re-delivery.

Please note that by giving us permission to use Authority to Leave (ATL) with your order, all insurance cover for the loss of goods will no longer apply. Neither Sports Day Essentials nor the shipping company (ie Australia Post, Fastway or other couriers) will be liable for any damages or loss of goods after your order is delivered when ATL is applied.

Sports Day Essentials take no responsibility for orders that are not received within the Australia Post and/or Fastway suggested / guaranteed delivery times as detailed on their website.

WAREHOUSE OPEN DAYS

We are primarily an online business, however during terms 1 & 4 we open our warehouse to the public, when we are aware there are local Sports Days events approaching. We promote these open times at the top of our website homepage and actively promote via our Facebook page and local community Facebook groups.  

WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY

RETURNS

If your garment does not fit or you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your goods and we will arrange an exchange or refund.  Products must be sent to us within 7 days of receipt, with all original tags and packaging in as new condition.  Return of goods is at your own expense and we take no responsibility if your parcel does not arrive to us. Once your goods are received we will process arrange the exchange or refund.
